The CPS Ultralight Set is designed for players looking for the ultimate combination of low weight, stiffness and performance. Weighing just 780 grams as a complete paddle, it is one of the lightest canoe polo paddles available, delivering an exceptionally responsive feel without compromising on stiffness or durability.
The Ultralight blades are based on the renowned CPS Kinetic shape, further refined to improve ball control. The slightly more hollow blade provides a controlled feel when receiving, passing and shooting, while retaining the speed and efficiency that make the Kinetic shape so popular among high-level players.
The blades are constructed from full pre-impregnated carbon fibre and reinforced around the edges with Kevlar. This combination keeps the blades extremely light and stiff while providing excellent resistance to the impacts and contact that are part of competitive canoe polo.
The CPS Carbon Shaft complements the Ultralight blades perfectly. Its lightweight and stiff carbon construction provides direct power transfer, quick acceleration and precise control, while keeping the overall paddle weight to a minimum. With a length of 110 cm, the shaft can be cut to your preferred paddle length, allowing you to create a paddle that matches your personal playing style and preferences.
Together, the Ultralight blades and CPS Carbon Shaft create an exceptionally light, stiff and responsive paddle for players who want to get the most out of every stroke. Whether you're a field player or goalkeeper, the CPS Ultralight Set offers high-level performance with a distinctive lightweight feel.
Canoepolo.Shop advice:
The CPS Ultralight Set feels noticeably different from a conventional canoe polo paddle. The extremely light construction gives the paddle a very responsive feel, with the weight feeling more concentrated towards the blades. This makes it particularly appealing to experienced and high-level players who value speed and manoeuvrability. The shaft is slightly more delicate than some heavier alternatives, so a little extra care is recommended. The Kevlar-reinforced blades, however, are built to handle the demands of competitive canoe polo.
