Braca-Sport Rapid Carbon - Set
The Braca-Sport Rapid Carbon is a high-performance canoe polo paddle designed for players looking for speed, precision and excellent control. Building on the proven Kinetic design, the Rapid features an extended pointed blade shape that allows for an extremely efficient paddle stroke.
The narrow, pointed blade tip can be placed closer to the kayak, helping the boat track straighter and reducing unwanted steering during powerful strokes. This makes the Rapid particularly effective for sprinting and acceleration, while also providing excellent control during ball handling and quick paddle movements. Unique non-slip bands on the blades provide additional grip and confidence when controlling the ball.
The Rapid Carbon is an excellent choice for offensive players who value explosive acceleration, high top speed and precise boat control. The lightweight, stiff Braca-Sport Carbon Shaft ensures efficient power transfer and a responsive feel, while the highly impact-resistant edge around the entire blade and Polystyrol foam reinforcement provide the durability needed for competitive canoe polo.
The Carbon Shaft is available in three stiffness levels: Soft, Medium and Hard, allowing you to choose the balance between flexibility and responsiveness that best suits your playing style. As a general guideline, stronger players will benefit from a stiffer shaft, while lighter players may prefer a softer setup.
Canoepoloshop advice: The Rapid blades with a Medium shaft are a great all-round combination and an excellent choice for most players. We recommend avoiding the Soft shaft if you weigh more than 45 kg, as it can feel too flexible under load. The Hard shaft provides maximum stiffness and power, making it particularly suitable for stronger players, but can feel harsher on the wrists, especially when blocking.
With its combination of lightweight construction, stiffness, durability and highly efficient blade design, the Braca-Sport Rapid Carbon is an excellent choice for players who want maximum speed, acceleration and control on the water.
